Fletching Workshop

 YCB Archers Essentials Series

In 2014 YCB will be providing a number of workshops designed to provide those new to the sport “the basics” with respect to archery fundamentals through a number of short 1-2 hour workshops .  We’re calling these educational workshops the Archers Essentials Series and hope you will find them both informative and essential in your progression to mastery in Archery.

To kick of the Series we will be offering  an Arrow Fletching Workshop , Saturday February 8th  at 4:00 p.m. in the Portable.
We will have arrows to fletch/repair from our archery school inventory or you can bring your own.  Those with fletching jigs are encouraged to bring them along (also anyone who would like to lend us theirs for the afternoon please contact Rick).  Registration is not required but if you plan to attend please r.s.v.p. Rick so we have an idea of numbers.
We plan to offer a workshop every 2 months depending on interest, volunteers speakers* and topics. In the works are workshops for:
•         Tuning your Compound Bow
•         Bow String Making
•         Tuning your Olympic Bow
•         Competitive Shooting – the Mental Game
If you would like to pass on any of your wisdom by leading or co-leading a workshop* and/or would like to see a topic added to our Essentials Series please contact Rick.
