3D Tournament – On Sunday July 27 York County Bowmen held our largest tournament of the year.  Of the 96 competitors participating in our 40 target 3D  shoot 51 were completing the second leg of the Ontario 3D Triple Crown event.  Weather was ideal and the challenging course was appreciated by all.

Participant scores are available here.

Events like these only happen with the effort and commitment of our club volunteers.  Thank you to all that helped make this happen in the week leading up to the event and the day of.  While I can’t list everyone I do want to specifically acknowledge Cam Jacklin,  Mike Peer and Mike Bennett  for their Herculean effort in helping in the set-up of the course.  Also Mark Wade, Rick Daigle and Stacy Harris who huddled in front of the computer screen ensuring names categories and score were accurate. Lastly, and by no means the least, Sam Ghazy for preparing and delivering a great lunch.  Kudos to you all, the event would not have been the success it was without your efforts!!!
