3D marked distance tournament

When: It will take place on Sunday, May 14th ( rather than May 28th )

  • Prize money will be paid to top 3 finishers in each class but only if the shooting class has at least 10 competitors.
  • First prize 70$, second prize 60$, and third prize 50$....
  • Registration opens 8:30am. Shotgun start at 10:00 am
  • Cost $30/ person. There will be 40 -3D targets total.
  • additional bonus- York County Bowmen members who are entrants in this competition will receive lunch free of charge.

Canada Winter Games

Four youth archers from YCB / YDP competed at Caledon on April 13 for the chance to represent Ontario at the Canada Winter Games.  One female and one male archer with the highest score for recurve and compound were selected.  Congratulations to Joshua Almond,  Kaity Horlock, Tyler Martin and Artin Sarkezians for reaching the finals. 

Kaity Horlock was awarded the opportunity to represent Ontario in female compound.  

The Canada Winter Games is a prestigious event held every 2 years.  It is open to youth under age 22 and athletes are selected from all provinces and territories to compete in a variety of sports.  It will be held in February 2015 in Prince George, British Columbia.
