Nine archers from YCB and the CanBow program competed in the OFSAAs (Ontario High School Archery Invitational Tournament) in Richmond Hill on May 14 and 15. It is the largest tournament in Ontario, drawing over 500 competitors in compound, standard / traditional and recurve. Competitors include provincial and national champions. Our YCB and CanBow archers came away with some hardware and excellent finishes!
Kaity Horlock won the gold medal and set a new tournament record with a score of 597/600 in the girls compound division.
Artin Sarkezians won the bronze medal, Tyler Martin finished 6th and Josh Almond finished 7th in the boys compound division.
Vincent Siew finished 11th in the boys recurve division.
Emilia Comsa, Roman Peraita and Nicolaus Wong competed in the compound division, and Connor Lees competed in recurve.
