2020 Ontario Indoor Mail Match

York County Bowmen will be a host club for the OAA Indoor Mail Match Tournament for 2020!

The Mail Match is an excellent way for the archer who cannot get to any of the larger tournament locations during the winter months to still participate. It also provides the archer an idea as to how others archers are shooting by comparison. This competition is also good practice for tournaments but under less stressful conditions.

Competitors shoot a maximum of one Canadian 300 Round (10-Ring - 30 arrows at 18m) per week for 12/13 weeks.  You must shoot a minimum of 6 scores in order to be ranked.

These scores will be collected by the Mail Match Coordinator (Jason Boyd) which are then posted on the OAA Website Results Page.  At the end of the 12/13 weeks, the six best scores for each archer are averaged and certificates awarded for each Equipment Classification.

OAA Mail Match Entry Fees

Fees are $10.50 for Non-OAA Members and $8.50 for OAA Members, per equipment division.

Please pay cash in person to Jason Boyd.

Shooting Times

Shooting times will be during the Official Winter League scoring (beginning January 7th, 2020).

Please be advised that for the first 5 weeks of league, we are shooting IFAA 5-spot, so you would need to shoot a second time that week for the mail match (which uses the 10-ring target).

These times take place on:

Mornings –      Tuesday, 10am scoring

                     Thursday, 10am scoring

Evenings -       Wednesday, 7:30pm scoring

                     Thursday, 7:15pm scoring

Weekends -     Sunday, 1:30pm scoring
