Outline of Sessions: (9:00 am - 11:00 am per day)

Session 1 (April 25th) - Introduction – Basics of Good Shooting Form

Session 2 (May 2nd) - Introduction of Sight and Adjustments

Session 3 (May 9th) - Arrow Group and equipment recommendations

Session 4 (May 23rd) - Tour of Forest (may switch with

Session 5 (May 30th) - Target Face/ Scoring

TO ENSURE YOU RECEIVE THE MOST FROM YOUR LESSON, PLEASE BE GUIDED BY:

-> Safety is our #1 priority...direction from our instructors/coaches must be followed

-> Suitable clothing, short or tight sleeves and firm footwear are recommended, no sandals or bulky clothing

-> Long hair should be secured in some manner

-> Please arrive on-time. All necessary equipment will be provided

-> COVID Protocol: Face coverings is a personal preference, but if worn could interfere with the archery shooting process when releasing the arrow into flight.

There is a potential risk for personal injury and damage to property while attending, or participating in any
form of sports activity. Participation also includes possibility of exposure to illness from infectious diseases including, but not limited to Covid-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness does exist.

We at YORK COUNTY BOWMEN endeavour to create and maintain a safe environment at our facilities and we have established reasonable control through our use of RULES OF CONDUCT for participants, spectators and guests that must be followed. Any questions in regards should be clarified with an official response.

I/we have read the above notice of warning and fully understand the risks and conditions of participating in the lesson(s) organized or sponsored by YORK COUNTY BOWMEN.

I/we hereby save harmless and indemnify YORK COUNTY BOWMEN, its Officers, Directors, Coaches and Assistants from demands, claims, acting suits or proceedings arising out of participation in any Club activity or program or making use of the club facility in general.

I understand and agree that there will be no refunds or credits available for any classes not attended by the participant for any reason.
