LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
York County Bowmen acknowledges that we are on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and the Huron-Wendat people and as of Treaty 13 of 1805, the Mississaugas of the Credit. We acknowledge their enduring presence and contributions to the land and strive in the Sprirt of the First Nations and their Teachings, to maintain this stewardship for all future generations.
AND SO IT BEGINS
Repair work is scheduled to begin October 18 or 19, weather providing. A section of the parking lot and the roadway will be blocked off NO ACCESS. This will be a work area with possibly heavy equipment in use. You are still welcome to shoot the field and 3D courses but the hill going down to 3D target #1 will be out of bounds. Work is expected to take about a week, depending on weather. We ask for everyone’s cooperation during this time.
2026 BOWHUNTER OF THE YEAR
Turkey and bear hunting takes place in the spring and fall. Moose and deer hunting only occurs in the
fall. If you are successful with your bow and arrow, send an email to hunter@yorkcountybowmen.com.
Include a picture and the relevant measurements. Your name will be included in the 2026 York County
Bowmen, Bowhunter of Year competition. The deadline for submission is January 1, 2027.

SWAP AND SHOOT
We had about 40 shooters, great weather and a great day with several non members mentioning how much they enjoyed our facilities and that they are looking forward to the shoot again next year.
