Important Announcement  Regarding YCB’s Archery Development Programs

It is with regret that the YCB Board announces that Ming Szeto is no longer responsible for directing YCB’s Archery Development Programs, these include Private Lesson, Archery School coordination and overseeing the Youth Development Program.

On a separate but related note, Allen Tsang who has coordinated the Youth Development Program for a number of years is also stepping down for work related and personal reasons. We thank Allen for his enthusiasm and commitment to youth development at YCB.

Archery Development is a valued component of YCB’s experience for both members and the public. The role of Director, Archery Development and YDP Coordinator are critical to the club’s ability to continue to offer these programs. If you would like to get more involved in Archery Development at YCB please consider volunteering for either position.

Unfortunately, until such time as someone steps forward to assume the position of Director, Archery Development and/or YDP Coordinator the programs, out of necessity, will be suspended.

The following changes are effective immediately:

1) All private lessons to the public (non members) are suspended.

Lessons to members will continue without restriction. As we do not have a reservation system operational, coaches are asked to be aware of the impact of scheduling lessons during peak periods and the impact on other members if multiple lessons are occurring at the same time.

2) Fall Archery School is suspended until a new Director is in place

3) Youth Development Program is suspended until a new Coordinator is in place.

If you are interested in either position please contact Rick Brown, President YCB to discuss president@yorkcountybowmen.com or call 416.726.5312.

Special Note to Coaches: If you conducted a private lesson to a non member in June, July or August please contact Rick Brown, at president@yorkcountybowmen.com or call 416.726.5312
