10 Week Score Improvement
The Indoor League is underway and it’s not too late to sign up and watch your scoring improve.
League is open to all YCB members at no cost.
Get off the couch and join the Indoor League.

Archery Ontario 10 Ring Indoor Championship

The indoor range will be closed on February 15 and March 1, 2025 from 7:00am to 5:00pm for the Archery Ontario 10 Ring Indoor Championships.
Limited spots remain in the afternoon for both days.  Register online through YCB website.

Frozen Fingers and Toes Fun Shoot March 9, 2025
Mark your calendar … back by popular demand, the “who knows what the weather will be like” Fun Shoot.
Great way to come out of hibernation and join your fellow club members for a No pressure, No awards, No registration, Scoring optional Fun Shoot on our 3D winter course.
Chilli lunch and hot beverages provided.
No cost to members or guests (guest fees and waivers still apply)

Winter Trail Safety
Despite the improved visibility in the winter season, it is imperative that members adhere to the Safety protocols outlined in the club’s Rules & Regulations. Remain on designated trails and do not take shortcuts through the woods between targets.  This practice is both dangerous and could lead to serious injury as well as member disciplinary action.

Archery Development
The Director, Archery development has responsibility for overseeing the Archery Development programs at YCB. These include the Youth Development Program, Archery School and Private Lessons. Vince Ientile has held this position for the past year and will not be continuing in the role. We thank Vince for his contribution over the past year and we will be seeking candidates for the position as part of the 2025 Board election process.

Annual General Meeting – March 30, 2025
The Annual General Meeting provides members with an accounting from the Board with respect to the past year’s operations and plans for the coming year.
In addition, members ratify the Board of Director’s for the following term. Nominations are now open for the following positions.

  • President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Director, Membership
  • Director, Facilities
  • Director, 3D
  • Director World Archery/Field
  • Director, Archery Development
  • Director, Forest Management

Your club will not run itself !
If you would like to get involved with the management of York County Bowmen please consider standing as a candidate for a Board position.

Request for Proposals to be Considered and Voted on my members at the Annual General Meeting
Members are invited to submit to the Board proposals for consideration to be presented at the AGM and voted on my members.
Proposals are to be submitted by email to president@yorkcountybowmen.com no later than February 28, 2025
Each proposal must include a brief rationale as to why it is being proposed and be submitted by a member in good standing.
Proposals received by Feb 28, 2025 will be reviewed by the Board on March 6, 2025. and presented at the A.G.M for member review.
