LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

York County Bowmen acknowledges that we are on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and the Huron-Wendat people and as of Treaty 13 of 1805, the Mississaugas of the Credit.  We acknowledge their enduring presence and contributions to the land and strive in the Sprirt of the First Nations and their Teachings, to maintain this stewardship for all future generations.

A FRIENDLY REMINDER
Summer is here.  Long course is open.  A reminder to all members DO NOT CUT THRU THE WOODS, stay on the trail.  A few people have already been observed taking short cuts from target to target.  Not only is this dangerous but against club regulations.  NO SMOKING IN THE WOODS, or anywhere on club property other than designated areas.  Members in contravention of these regulations are subject to disciplinary action up to possible loss of membership.  Please wear your ID tag where it is visible at all times

YES, GIVE A DAMN!

Reminder to members.  This club is run by volunteers.  If you see something that needs attention please contact the appropriate director with your concern.  Directors are volunteers too and don’t go around and inspect everything.  Please do your part and help make the club the best we can.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MEMBERS FOR CLUB ACCESS JULY 20, 2026

Access to the parking lot will be closed all day July 20th to allow for the paving of the entranceway.

The club and all ranges will remain  open and be accessible to members on a walk in basis.

Parking will be along McCowan road for the duration of the day. When parking along McCowan please ensure your vehicle is off the road as much as possible and please be cautious of through traffic on exiting and returning to your vehicle.

Note, this date may be pushed out to July 21, depending on weather.  Keep an eye on the monitor, club website, Facebook, and blackboard for updates.
